In some of the old catalogues, particularly the 1967 one, there is mention of an optional undercarriage for Beocord models of the time.

There was two versions, one for Beocord 1100/2000 de luxe T and another for Beocord 1500 de luxe/2000 de luxe K. I have never seen one of these in the flesh but a picture is shown below.

Were these a common option for buyers? Does anyone here have an original version or some more photographs of the design?

I would be quite keen to produce something similar for my 1100 but it is difficult to get a true sense of the design with such basic photographs.

Any information appreciated,

Ben

Judging from a recent internet search, it may be difficult to find a donor chair or similar with 4 legs, many now having 5 legs. I'm willing to be patient though.

Still unsure about how the Beocord sits on the top of the stand. Anyone got any more information here?

Thanks,

Ben

The Beocord just stands on it.
It looks like this:

I see a red knob on the Beocord 2000 and some yellow text above the radio volume level, is that original. And is it a Beocord 2000 ?

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

Those are merely stickers with letters, reading Radio and Mikrofon over the respective sliders.

The red button? Who knows...
