Hi

In my CD4500, when spinning up a disc, it is clear that the motor is spinning without the cd, there is a "scratching" sound when it is spinning the disc. After a few seconds, the disc is up to motorspeed and all is fine..

Is there something that can be applied to the base of the spindle that holds the disc, or is it possible to buy a new "something" to replace the old black stuff that should cause the friction to the cd ?

Anyone ?

Problem solved with use of some black "rough" tape :)

See the duplicate thread (sorry about that) :)
