Having recently repaired the deflection circuits on my MX4000, the TV fails to start up, so far I have replaced the deflection ICs on PCB4 (power supply and deflection) and PCB11 (CRT) as well as replacing caps on the power supply with the same values. In theory the initial problem of deflection should be repaired. However, the TV wont come out of standby. The degauss coil works, but the tube wont start. I'm guessing a power supply failure.
Any ideas?
