I have an SC80 cabinet for my beloved Beosystem 8000 but it has always been missing the cover that sits behind the cassette deck - the one that hides the cabling and is styled to match the heatsinks of the Beomaster 8000.

I tried to keep telling myself that it doesn't matter but have now accepted that it does! If anyone has one for sale please let me know...

It is not very closely matched! It is a black metal box that is the same depth. You could make a much better one yourself I dare say! Or use the top of a heat sink from a Beomaster 6000 - that will be just the right size!

Leslie's post reminded me I had posted this picture before of the SC80 cover.

Should not be that difficult to make one. Found the original after you posted your drawing John.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I have to say I'm a bit disappointed as I understood it was styled to match the Beomaster's heatsink, rather than just being a black box.

As Peter says, there's possibly an opportunity to be a bit creative here...

If you want to have it as B&O originally has designed it why not? I'm creative but in this case I would leave it as has it been designed. Looks silly looking at a Beocord heatsink?
