Hi BeoWorlders,

My BM5/BS5 combo has been working fine ever since I got a brand new hard disc installed at B&O. However now I have a new problem. After playing for about an hour the tracks begin to stutter! At first it is one time for each two to three tracks. But after a while it becomes far worse and the error becomes unbearable skipping forth and back in the track like a scratched CD. Ultimately it would end the track altogether and go to pause. There is no ripping errors in the files as I have been able to play them flawlessly in the past.

The BM5 is sitting in a drawer with a vent hole at the back. I have not encountered any heating problems in the past. What might cause this problem?

Temperatures are:

43*, 43* and 36* celceus

Best regards,

Frederik

Hi,

I do not have any other network device in my home apart from my lap top where the BeoMaster network is available. Built in radio I have yet to try (I usually use the radio in the BV11). I have however experienced drop outs from the AUX in where I have an USB device connected to an AirPort Express.

I appreciate the help!

A DLNA server is easily installed on a laptop - try MinimServer...

....just to test if it acts different.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
