I got a new game for christmas and really want to play it, unfortunately the Tv had a scart and no RGB connections, so I had to order and adapter, no problem, amazon helps everything, anyway got it in the Mail today hooked it up, but I'm still not getting anything the screen just stays static, I've tried changing the connections Using every combination available and still can't get it to work, Can anyone help me?

Welcome to Beoworld.

Which input have you used to plug in the connector to the TV?  Have you selected the correct 'source' via the remote?

Not sure if it is exactly the same but on my Avant I use the camcorder input for the PS2 which works wonderfully. Then obviously select that on the Beo4 and it should work fine.

There may be small adjustments to make on the screen ratio but it worked perfectly for me.

... and be sure that the RGB/CINCH-->SCART-Adapter is the one switched as "INPUT". There are different SCART-adapters: INPUT, OUTPUT or switchable and the first two do look identical.

I am using the scart input area

As for the source I can't get to it because we don't have the remot we're using a universal one for all remote

Just like having a locked doors - and the wrong key Crying

You need to open the input, where the scart/PS2 is connected.- this is configured in the menu of the tv.

And choose the assigned input to see the picture and hear the sound of the PS2.

You'll have to use the Beo4 for that.

What is 'a universal remote for all remote'?

There is a tv - and there is a BV
