Can anyone help me find one of these to replace the tube that has gone on my otherwise trusty old set?

It would be far more cost effective to buy a used Avant 32 DVD off ebay/local classifieds site. With the LCD market and digital television, prices have plummeted.

Unless you could source a used tube, a new one (if still available) would be 1000 euro +.

Too long to list....

Unlike solid-state electronics, CRT usually don't experience instant death, unless they crack or something catastrophic happens. A good TV tech might be able to squeeze a few more years of life out of an old tube, which might be an acceptable solution if the TV is only for light use.
