My Beo6 was working fine yesterday.  Today, whenever I try to access N.Music, I get the spinning circle for a short period, and then it displays "Cannot initialize wireless module".  I get the same error if I got into setup and try to access any of the wireless functions (except "info" and "server ip").  The "info" settings all seem to be correct (correct BM5 IP address and network name).

Is there a way to reset the software?

Could this be caused by an IP conflict with the Beo6?  That is, if the Beo6 has the same IP as another computer in the network.

Thanks,

Stan

Stan,

It could be a IP conflict and the best way to find out is switch the Beo6 off by pressing and holding the centre (OK) button until the word "Power off" appear then put it back on the charger base.

When it comes back on it will get a new IP address from your router.

Regards Keith....

Just want to post a quick update.  I let the Beo6 sit overnight, and it worked fine the next day.  Oddly, when I went into settings, it showed a 'blank" ip address.  Yet, it was working fine.

Thanks  for the tip on how to turn it off... I was looking for that and could not find it.

Stan

My Beo6 can connect with server and I have an IP address. Since yesterday, when I choose CD then connection wireless is lost and when I look at settings, the IP got blank.

What to do?

Beovision 10-46, Beo6, Beosound 5+ Beomaster 5, Beolab 12.2, Beolab 12.3, Beocom 6000

Problem solved. Server IP Beomaster set to fixed, instead of DHCP en put it manual in Beo6.
