Hi.

I have a Beocenter 9000, which has some problems which I would like to have fixed. I hope you can help me with this so I can get an idea of how it can get to work 100% again.

1. When you turn on the system, it starts at full volume and lights every thing up. The upper display flickers in brightness. This stops when you touch the touch panel or using the remote control.

2. Touch panel on the left side reacts in periodic manners.

3. The cover for the tape deck will not close when the system is in use, but there is no problem in standby mode.

I did have something like that after changing backup battery. Resetting RAM did cure it.

Do yuo lost station and settings if you disconnect from mains for a little time?

Well... The unit has not been connected for months. So I do not know if the memory works or backup battery is dead.

I guess it will need general overhaul anyway.
