Control of Set Top Box through BeoVision 6

I own a BeoVision 6. It is connected to a Sky + set top box. Recently the B&O handheld controller stopped working with the Sky + box, but otherwise works with the Menu, Exit, etc functions on the TV .  I can change channels, etc. on the BeoVision 6 using the Sky handheld controller. I checked that the cable running from the IR-Out on the BeoVision 6 to the Sky + box is connected to the TV but I'm unable to test if there is a signal on that cable.  Any suggestions would be welcomed.

This occasionally happened to me with my BV5 and my Sky+ box.

The fix was to go to the Connections menu and set up the STB box from scratch - choose the box from the list. Then Switch off and on again.

I tried the solution that you suggested but the problem remains.

I've decided to hand the problem to the local B&O technician.
