I just got a Beocenter 2600 in a rather good condition.

Buttons and sliders are all working good.

The only issue is that the right channel of the tape deck does not work. When I switch to mono both speakers receive a signal, but that would only be a temp solution.

Do you have an idea where I should start looking regarding this issue?

Thanks for your help

Well, the problem could be several places, all the way from the tapehead over switches and contacts, cracked solder joints,
preamplifier etc.
You will have to put a scope to the signal path and see where the signal is lost.
If all this fails, email me and I can look for a replacement tapedeck section in the dungeons.
