Hi everyone
I bought an old bv7-32 mark 1 panel and stand yesterday. The owner had already sold the speaker separately so I've got things up and running with a pair of even older Pentas. I'm actually surprised just how well this works both visually and sound wise.
However the stand looks a bit 'naked' and I would prefer a centre speaker. Obviously the 7 series speakers were purpose designed for the job, but I wondered what other options there might be. I see the odd beolab 10 for sale at the right price and think they look great with their nod to the iconic av9000 - would one of these work and fit the stand pole ok?
Also, how on earth do you tidy and hide the cables on these stands?
Thanks in advance.

Cable sleeve is the only thing you can do to tidy the cables behind a single pole stand unless you route the cables to come out directly behind your panel, most people use a 7-4 to conceal the cable runs/sleeve or whatever you go for. You can also use translucent cable ties at the top and bottom of the stand if sleeve is not an option.
I thought about responding to your post yesterday, because clearly the 7-40 has an adaptor plate etc. made to mount the BL10 underneath if you wish, the only ones I have stock of are twin pole (7-40/55 stand) but I would have thought there has to be a solution out there! Arguably the BL10 would look oversized compared to the screen of a 32, but whatever floats your boat I guess. It is becoming increasingly popular on eBay for sellers to remove the BL7 speaker from sale and sell the screen with mount option only, hope you got a good deal!
