Bit more of a technical/Mac question perhaps...
Just got the H8s a few days ago, they're really really good and make my old Bose ones looks like plastic childrens stuff. Honestly, they are great, I encourage people to try them out.
Anyway, to connect them, I currently have to go Settings -> General ->Bluetooth ->TurnOn ->Connect
Is there a recommended app to make this quicker? The iStore seems to have a million Bluetooth apps but I really just want a bluetooth icon on my front screen to tap, then tap "H8 headphones" or a second icon to be on the go. It's a few seconds I know but it would be so much more convenient to do it with 2 quick taps and I can't just leave the things connected all day. I'm a bit surprised that B&O didn't get an IT person to code something up in an afternoon to do such a seemingly simple task.
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
I usually turn the H8´s on and off. If bluetooth is on, on my mac/phone then they will connect automatically when the H8 is turned on. It won't work the other way around tough.
Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2, BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century, BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i, BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40, BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)
Both of these are for connecting to a desktop/laptop system though
If you're using an ipod/iphone/ipad is there an app to quickly turn bluetooth on and connect the headphones, without having to go through the settings menu? If you leave them connected permanently(as you would with a desktop Mac) the battery's gone by the end of the afternoon.
Just keep bluetooth on at all times on your iphone. then turn on your h8, and it will automatically connect.
On lock screen on iOS move finger from bortom and up, turn off or on bluetooth. Same forne wi-fi or airplane mode.
