Hello!

I have a pair of Beovox M-70's.  Both speakers have the same serial number, and as far as I can tell by ear, all drivers are working.  Unfortunately, one speaker is significantly louder than the other.  Any ideas why this might be?

I've checked this with two known working amps, and the same speaker is always louder than the other.  Currently, I just set the balance towards the quieter speaker, so they image properly.  Both speakers sound good when played individually.

Thoughts?

Ensure the speakers/cables are in-phase.  i.e. the + and - from the amp side are on the + and - of the speakers - not relevant if you have DIN cables but maybe if you have binding posts.

Dave.

It does seem like one of the cables was out of phase.  I'm using monoprice speaker cable, with a two pin din adaptor that I purchased from a B&O store many moons ago.  Can someone please confirm which of the din pins is + and which is - on the speaker?

Thanks!
