LG are to start taking orders in John Lewis for their 55 in OLED tv arriving this winter, with Samsung closely behind with their 55 in also. Sony and Panasonic are to join forces in a bid to also retail a tv by 2014.

With the sets being so thin, the inputs etc are contained in a box forming the base, just like the 12 has its Beosystem 3 detached. Wouldn't this be a perfect setup for B&O albeit with a centre speaker? Personally I would have got a 12 albeit, 5 years ago but, and as a recent 10-46 owner I think our AV world is set to change again.

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

According to my dealer, there are no immediate plans for a BV10-55. Shame really. I could live with a slightly larger BV10 and have asked a few times now - the BV7-55 is just way too big and heavy. I don't need the movable stand either.

BV12 is just too expensive for me. When you think you could have a TV or an specced-up Audi A1, you realise how much you're committing to rectangle box, simply view a few sub-standard movies. Which part of the BV12 is worth thousands of pounds? There are more electronics driving the Audi A1! Ridiculously really. IMHO you need to be earning a good 6-figure wage to justify a BV12.

Plus....I can get a couple of decent watches for the price of the BV12 and, generally speaking, they go up in value :)

I'm clearly talking myself out of a BV12!

Moxxey... Your BV10 is a work of art... don't think about changing it dude!   Yeah i'd take the Audi A1 - it will take you on adventures that a BV12 never can!

No, I meant move from a BV10-46 to a BV10-55 (if one existed)!
