Lost the sound in one speaker.

When I move and bend the cord that goes into the phono plug, it comes back occasionally. Evidently one lead is broken.

Is this a DIY job to fix?

Not covered by warranty any more.

I have fixed earbuds with that problem before but it never looks good.

If the point is on the cord, you could try with some black electrical tape.

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

I had the same problem with mine. They broke 3 or 4 times during 2 years in the exact same place. The cord design is idiotic. Even my white apple earbuds last more than twice as long! I complained and with the help of Allmänna reklamationsverket got a full refund.

Good that ARN could be of help there.

I have had the headset to long, to claim any warranty or so.

Probably not worth the effort to try and put a new mini phono jack on.
