I have one thing puzzled me for a while. Please let me know if anyone has a good solution.

- In itunes, if  a CD Albumet have more than one CD, then they are shown under One album and then you can see disc 1 , disc 2... if you open this album.  But when you ripped the mutiple CDs and put it under the same Album folder ,and  try to play it on BS5,  it doesn't play the music in the order of disc # ,  i.e it play the track 1 of disc 1 ,and then track 1 of disc2,  and then track 2 of disc 1 , track 2 of disc 2....

The only way I have so far to solve it is to put CD1 file in one folder and CD2 in another folder.  Therefore, if a CD box have 8 CDs ( eg. Beethoven's piano sonata), then it looks like you have 8 CDs on the BS5 Encore with same cover art shown on the BS5.  what I would like to achieve is to let BS5 play disc1 first and then disc 2, disc 3....

Thanks in advance !

BS5 can not do this, only if you have the data on say a NAS drive and you tell the BS5 do look at that for music it reads the DLNA data so that i works. I know, strange.

The BS5 does not see CDs as being part of the same album, not good at handling multi CD compilations, just like if you're playing long classical sets where a track spands multiple trans/songs, the BS5 does not know that and might shuffle tracks with MOTS etc.

I do have the synology NAS and store all my music on it.  But it doens't play in the order of disc either.

Anyway, at least I know there is no way to solve it.  :-)

first remark do you have a proper dlna server installed on your nas

second: concerning the cd's

I would say a DLNA thing not a BS5e thing.

a work around

1. add ......(cd1) etc tot the album title in the tag

2. make it "one" cd bij renumbering the tracknumbers (start with the next tracknumber were the first ended)

Normal 0 21 false false false FR X-NONE X-NONE

Hello

I put all the tracks of the 2 or 3 cd’s in the same folder and i edit the tags whith MP3TAG (free).

I changed the tracks order, and i have 36 tracks in the good order, easy.

But i can’t do nothing for the gap beetwen tracks and the shame for no fast forward ou rewind !!!
