I recently moved and when my BeoLab 8000's were unpacked there was a three inch scratch the top back/top of the speaker. If someone has ran into this is there any ideas how to fix? Is it worth it? Thanks in advance!

It all depends on the depth of the scratch. The BL8000 speaker is polished aluminum with a clear coat lacquer surface. If the scratch is light, a little car wax may minimize the scratch without penetrating the clear coat. Any deeper, and you may have to re-polish the entire speaker and re-apply a clear coat. Perhaps a furniture repair facility or auto body shop can can perform that type of refinishing service?
BeoLab 5, BeoVision 7-55 MK2, BeoSound 5 Encore, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab Penta III, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 6000, BeoLab 2, BeoLab 7-6, BeoSound 8, BeoTime (analog clock), Beo 4 remote.
The top of the speaker can be replaced.
As the aluminium body is anodised rather than clear coated with laquer you should avoid using any sort of abrasive as you will make a bad job very much worse.
If the scratch is at the back of the body then I suggest you ignore it and enjoy your speakers.
