Hi all,
I have just joined this forum as I have just purchased a Beosystem 3500. Would any of you be able to tell me if I could hang it on the wall without the mounting brackets and whats the best way to do this?
I have looked on the forum and the pictures that are on here dont seem to be working.
Many thanks for all your help in advance
Phil
Welcome to Beoworld.
By far the best way is by the purpose made hanging brackets (still available on eBay). I wouldn't suggest hanging them any other way. You could make a shelf with a lip at the front and place them at an angle but the most secure and aesthetically pleasing way is by the brackets. I would not suggest drilling holes through the back as you'll most likely damage some internal components.

Please make sure you re -secure all the glass panels before hanging, at this age they all get loose , fall out and smash

Many thanks to both your replies, I have the tape to re glue the panels, just have to track down some wall brackets now!!
thanks
The tape isn't good enough !!!
I know it's what B&O used in the day but copying thier mistake it will happen again , people sell tape as a direct replacment but it's just going to happen again and the sensitivity isn't always good enough.
I use a thin bead of a product called 'puraflex 40', it's black , flexable and very strong, sensitivity is excellent , I'm sure there are others but I've had great success with this ,a thin bead on the glass then press the frame sections on until it just shows out the edge, left overnight to go off and you can be sure it won't come loose.

Many thanks for that tip Jason I'll try and get some at the weekend, finding mounts is causing a problem at the moment though!
