Hi,

Is there any function to reset a bs3

Possible top plate fault but unsure.

Also would think not worth paying xyz to have it repaired

I can't see anything in the user or service manuals related to a 'reset'.  Top panels are available and quite easy to replace I believe.  Common fault for these depending on version.

I take it then b&o still sell/stock top plates for these.

Last time I contacted the dealer he explained it would be cheaper to buy an a2 than have it repaired!!

Time to source new top plateBig Smile

New top plates crop up on eBay quite often too.

My top plate has been replaced twice now and the only time the BeoSound 3 works is when it's used as a door stop Big Smile. Seriously if the unit is fully discharged and then power is reapplied it works for a moment (no pun intended!) and once switched to standby it becomes unresponsive again. If it worked I would be quite happy as the FM tuner serves a purpose in our small west London kitchen.
