I recently moved and decided to get a stairclimbing dolly to move my 7 pinball machines. The part of the move I most dreaded was moving my 2 Avants up and down stairs. Anyone who has done this knows how hard it is, with balancing the TV on stair treads and struggling to get a handhold. So I thought I would try my new dolly. With the Avant wrapped in a moving blanket and facing the dolly with the silver base resting on the dolly blade, it was a breeze. Less than a minute to go up a full flight of stairs, with a landing, one person. The dolly is made be Escalara and is powered by a rechargeable battery. They are custom made to order.

The picture below shows one of my MX5500s ready to go up.

I moved my Avant with the manual equivalent that has 3 wheels each side for going up and down stairs. So much easier than anything else. Dave.
