Bowled & Out!

Interesting choice - I wonder what the rationale is?  Any sponsorship for women's cricket, football or whatever will be most welcome by the sport.

Dave.

Women's Football I could see, as the recent publicity surrounding it has been quite something...  Women's Cricket though?  I have to be honest and say I didn't even know England had a Women's cricket team!!  On thinking, they must have - but is there a Women's County Cricket League too?

From a Business perspective it must have been a cheap deal with the prospect of future good media coverage?

Maybe it's just another arising of the female quota...

The woman's Ashes is just about to start, and it will be televised, at least in part. If you were going to sponsor them now would seem to be the time!

Ban boring signatures!

The English women's team is extremely good and has been for some time. Could probably have done as well as the men's last Sunday!

I think it is an excellent move. A good way to market the brand to men and women. And major purchases of B&O kit will often require approval by both.

The first ODI in the women's Ashes series was played in front of a crowd of thousands, at Taunton today. The whole game was televised by Sky and England won by 4 wickets. It was an excellent game. We stuffed the Aussies.

Yes, there is a county championship for women.

I would like to see B&O as sponsors for a Tour de France team, like B&O/Saxo Bank, imagine the bicycles with small efficient speakers blasting away "I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike" and for sure B&O could come up with nice design for the ugly water bottles they are using now.

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

@Søren

How about those speakers blasting away 'Nine million bicycles in Beijing'  ;-)

I'd like to take the 'photographer' who took that shot and explain to him how ridiculous everyone wearing headphones looks.

For goodness sake man/woman, put them around their necks and at least look cool...  It looks like they're on an 'Audio Tour' of the ground! Sad

Unfortunately Millemissen, most of the bicycles used in the tour are "made in China" and no longer handmade by a master frame builder in Turin etc Sad

Or they should have the headphones daisychained. Would that work with more than two? Whisper
