I missed this law change whilst on holiday, but it seems its once again illegal to copy a CD/DVD in the UK even for personal use.

When will the music industry get their head out of the sand and wake up.... it's ok for me to have a Spotify account and stream to a multiple number of devices but I can't burn a CD that I have legally bought to my own personnel iTunes account.

Their used to be a levy placed on blank recording mediums to cover such but I'm pretty sure these monies never reached the artists pockets they were intended too.

rant over ...

we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.

Crazy I know Mark but it's one of those laws that nobody will take note of. Ask the majority of youngsters if they would consider buying music and they look at you as though you are crazy :)  The laws are written by people who live on another planet.

Sometimes Mark, you just have to do your own thing in life :)
