Hello,
Got my hands on a MX 3500 today that I planned on using for some retro gaming.There are some discolouration in the corners on it and I had hoped it had some kind of degaussing functionality, but from what I have found online there is no option for this in the Service Menu.
Any ideas on how to get this done ?

It should degauss itself every time you turn it on (after it has been off for a while). Just use it normally and the discoloration should gradually disappear - it can take some time.
Of course it is possible that the degauss circuit has a fault.
