In your scenario, you'll name v.aux2 for instance as tune in on the NL/ml converter.

 

Then when you start radio on the moment and select v.aux2 on an ML product.... You'll have tuneIn.

Thanks!  It would be slightly different than the Beosound 5. If I select a source directly on the Beosound 5, it turns on the speakers connected to the TV that is identified as the Video Master. So with no speakers connected directly to the Moment, I would not be able to turn anything on from the Moment?Would the volume wheel on the wood work once the speakers were playing?

Not necessarily.

If you set v aux.2 to Tune In on the converter and the converter connects to the moment

Then you'd get tune in from your ML product based upon that button press.

You would not get sound from the moment for direct interactions don't think.

I am not positive about that but I don't think you'd be able to use the TV speakers as the moments speakers ... Honestly I'm not quite sure.

I have a passive kit and in wall speakers connected to mine so I'm not sure exactly how that works.

May just have to take advantage of dealer's 30 day return policy and order and see how it works.

It's actually quite nice.

I am still having a difficult time grasping how my system would work with a Moment or an Essence.

I have a BV7 and BV10 and BS5 connected by Masterlink. I also have a stand alone V1

If I purchase an Essence and one converter, would I be able to Press a button on the Beo 4 to turn on Spotify from the Essence in the room I am in and have it play through the TV's connected speakers just as with my BS5, but then with the added benefit of being able to use the app to search for and select music?

Same question with a Moment and Deezer?

Spotify won't distribute but deezer will.

Spotify wont distribute from the Essence? It distributes from the Beosound 5. If it wont distribute form the Essence to connected devices, what is the purpose of having it on the Essence? Are you saying Spotify will only play through speakers connected directly to the Essence?

So what is an Essence MK2 capable of doing with Spotify? Again thanks. I am finding NetLink, Essence and Moment very confusing.

I am sorry for my confusion. I can already distribute Spotify from my Beosound 5. What would connecting an Essence MK1 to it add or change?
