Sure! It is really simple! You only need to share Gnd and take "signal". As soon as posible, i will post the wiring....... It is really simple. You need to connect the gnd in Lintronic receiver to gnd in the original receiver. Then you onli connec the signal, no more + connections. For "red" and "green" lights, you only need to power up "+5v" on related pin.

THIS POST WAS CONTAINING THE WIRING ABOUT ORIGINAL IR RECEIVER OF BEOVISION. This post was removed because in this forum not sharing own success..... thanks to everybody!

emabonacchi:

And i hope someone can help me for controlling the stand, i have read "Gandalf" has done this and i would be very happy if he can share his arduino project.

..

Hello, my Arduion solution is directly related to the converter box from Eri Prehn ep-teknik copenhagen.

Erik gave me the control codes so that I can control the engine status of the BV7-32 and BV7-40.

I have received the information about the control codes confidentially and am not authorized to pass them on, please understand.

Since the control codes could be read directly from my Arduino sketch, I can of course not simply pass on the sketch.

anyway, i can only assume that the motor control of the BV5 works the same as that of the BV7.

Erik's converter box expects a "pulsing input" as noted in the LinTronik brochure.

The BEO4 remote control codes can be easily read out with an Ardfuino sketch, so you can write a sketch that, depending on the key pressed, passes on the associated pulse code to the converter box.

It can go something like this:

...

case beocode = "rotate left" pulsout (left) ..

and so on

I would be happy to provide further support for the Arduinosketch, but only without Erik's stand codes, which I would then indicate as xxxxx, which would make the sketch incomprehensible.

best regards

wilfried

So even if I get the arduino repeater, without the proper codes from Erik, I will not be able to control the stand, lg oled tv and beosystem 3 with 1 single beo4/6 remote right?

Yes, I think so.

Without the codes, no Arduino sketch can control the engine stand.

A LinTronik box would also be necessary to make the signals of the BEO4 usable for the converter box.

But if you buy a converter box from Erik Prehn, he will surely deliver the one with the control codes.

With the control code and an Arduino basic knowledge, you can control the engine stand with ANY remote control!

Ok, in this case, this forum is not useful..... Because noone share their results. So, i delete the post in witch i shared the connection about the Ir receiver. And i will proud to show my progress about my project, but i will not share anything...... because I AM SURE i will do everything also alone! Happy going to everyone!

What a bad thing!............. but if you are happy in this way, ok!.......

Can you share the information about the connection of the original ir eye of the BeoVision 5

Currently I have an extra link eye connected to my Lintronic, but I would like to use the original eye simultaneously like you do.

Which pin is data and which is ground ?

emabonacchi has removed his (free available information in service manual of Beovision 5)

Here is it again:

Any progress on how to easily control the motorstand (Left and Right)?

I have a Beovision 7-32 motorized floor stand and I'm making my own bracket to fit a non-B&O vesa compatible screen to it.
Would be great if I could make (or buy?) a 'simple' controller, connect it to a usb port on the non-B&O tv and to the 5 wires going to the motorstand and learn it 2 positions: desired position 1 when tv is off, desired position 2 when tv is on (so set / program once and forget...). I don't need anything extra (maybe manual Left and Right control with a separate infrared remote, but not really necessary)

as already described in this thread,

Mr. Erik Prehn (EP teknik) <epteknik@prehn.biz>

has developed an engine stand controller that can be operated with a LinTronik Box and the B&O BEO4 remote control.

Alternatively, this box can be controlled with an Arduino, then the Lintronik box is not required.

It is not possible to control the engine status via a USB connection, since the engine status is min. 12Volt operating voltage required (USB only supplies 5Volt).

@ W.Frankenberg Thanks for your answer, but I'm not looking for a unit with the LinTronik Box.
I'm looking for options to 'make' a controller myself, for example with an Arduino...
I understand that is is not possible to control the engine with USB (5V > 12V needed), but I only want to use the USB from the non-B&O tv as a 'trigger'. So extra 12v from an external adapter is also going to be used.

Do you happen to know which color wires these correspond to? I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume Red is 14V+ and Black is -
I've got a few arduinos I'm going to play around with getting this controllable as an Apple HomeKit accessory.

In case anyone was wondering, I traced the pins and wires:

Pin 1 - Black - GND

Pin 2 - Orange - Left

Pin 3 - Yellow - Right

Pin 4 - Red - Stand Position

Pin 5 - Brown - 14v+

drmichi:

Mechanically it's done, except the cable routing.

Next task is to attach an Oscilloscope and analyze how to control tilt / rotate with that 5 plug wire.
Since the BV7-40 still works, I think I will be able to find a pattern how to control the stand through a NodeMCU.

Please post some details / photos of the way you mounted it on the stand.

Trying to put a panasonic TV on my spare BeoVision 7 40 stand.

Keen to now too.
I used just a normal vest plate from eBay with 2 high torque screws.
