A9 owners' kind advice is required:

In order to finish the setup of the A9 (1st generation), I need to enter wifi network password in the b&o setup app for android installed on the Sony Xperia z3. The line next to the word "password" remains inactive which does not allow entering a password, and this is where the setting up stopped every time I tried.
Could you please advise a solution?

Hi

I also have a Sony Xperia Z3 which i now use as my BeoRemote :-)

I don't have an A9, but i have looked at the app

When you're in wifi, did you select BeoPlay A9_xxxxx?

When you go to input your password, is the keyboard visible?

Hi Michael,

Yes, I selected the BeoPlay a9 in the wifi setup menu. Then I selected my home wifi network

In the beosetup app, but I could not proceed further as the wifi password line is inactive, and when I tapped on it the keyboard does not appear on the screen.

Sometimes you can enable the keyboard from the bottom of the screen if it doesn't show up

Hi Michael,

I assume you've looked through the FAQ's on the Beoplay A9 site?  If not, it's here:

http://bogo.custhelp.com/app/answers/list/p/7,809#s=eyJzZiI6eyIxNzYiOnsiZmlsdGVycyI6eyJub190cnVuY2F0ZSI6MCwicGFnZSI6MSwic2VhcmNoVHlwZSI6eyJmaWx0ZXJzIjp7ImRhdGEiOjUsInJuU2VhcmNoVHlwZSI6InNlYXJjaFR5cGUiLCJmbHRyX2lkIjo1fX0sImtleXdvcmQiOnsiZmlsdGVycyI6eyJkYXRhIjoiIiwicm5TZWFyY2hUeXBlIjoia2V5d29yZCJ9fSwicCI6eyJmaWx0ZXJzIjp7ImRhdGEiOnsiMCI6IjcsODA5In0sInJuU2VhcmNoVHlwZSI6Im1lbnVmaWx0ZXIiLCJmbHRyX2lkIjoyfX0sImMiOnsiZmlsdGVycyI6eyJkYXRhIjp7IjAiOm51bGx9LCJyblNlYXJjaFR5cGUiOiJtZW51ZmlsdGVyIiwiZmx0cl9pZCI6M319fX19LCJjIjoxMn0.

No mention of setting up with Android though!  But it is on the quick set-up guide:

http://www.beoplay.com/~/media/ManualsPDF/BeoPlay_A9/3511168_1210-QG-BeoPlay-A9_web.ashx?la=en

Are you sure you have a green light whilst doing this?

If you've tried unplugging the A9 and starting again, if it still won't work, just send a message to the Beoplay support people asking them what the problem may be.  It's possible there may be a setting on your phone related to passwords and whether they are asked for or not?

Contact them here:

Hi you all.

I just can't send my deezer music from my Xperia Z3.

The set up is complete and the A9 is seen connected in Beosetup.

But I don't know/ find the way to transfer.

It works well with an old iPhone though.

Thanks for your help.

How did you send/transfer it from the iPhone?

With the iPhone, I transfer the music with the airplay icon.

I just installed the All connect app on my Xperia and I can now read the music on the A9.

But still not with Deezer.

Your Android phone does not support AirPlay!

The All Connect app only supports media locally stored on the device, where the app is installed.

If it works well with your iPhone/AirPlay, why not just stick to that?
