You will notice that when you start a new thread there is a BLUE banner where you can define if the thread is to answer a question(s) or is just for traditional discussion. Make sure you select the correct option as the threads are handled in a different manner depending on your selection.
When you are selecting a question and subsequently someone provides an acceptable or correct answer it is marked as a "Verified Answer" and placed next to the question no matter how long the thread is. So, when you do a search for a question, if there is an answer it will appear right below the question.
