I am considering adding a pair of wireless headphones to my living room setup. I am considering two different scenarios and I am curious about how it might affect the sound. If I understand correctly the "OTHER" would be a non-b&o output but with the possibility to adjust volume on the output, as if it was regular PL speakers and that "LINE" would be a fixed output - requiring volume adjustable headphones. Scenario 1:A speaker group only including a "OTHER" or "LINE" speaker (the headphones). Would probably not interfere with the other speakers performance since this would be the only chosen "speaker" in the group. Scenario 2:A speaker group including the regular speakers AND headphones. This is were I find it a bit tricky. How will the true image system decide which speakers is best at playing bass? I suppose it would avoid the LINE/OTHER but what kind of sound would be sent to that signal? Unprocessed sound of the chosen channel? If the headphones are added to a speaker group of a surround setup for example, and a pair of headphones are used for a person with hearing disability, how should one proceed? If the headphones would get R/L front, then the dialogue from C would be missing. Perhaps the solution is to avoid surround when a group including headphones is chosen? And another question: Is there a cable for this available from B&O? I found this from sounds heavenly and I will probably buy that one otherwise. And another question: Which headphones do you use? I have BeoPlay H8, BeoPlay H6 and so on but I would probably prefer a pair of headphones designed for use with a TV-setup. For example Sennheisers headphones using RF instead of Bluetooth, with recharging stand and volume controller on the headphone. Let me know if you have any input!
