Hi, I was wondering how difficult would be to add a new device to BV9 or BV10 TV STB list, so it can control it via PUC output? I am working on the set up of my house and have a few B&O TVs around. I am not sure whether I need to check the PUC list first for supported devices (such as media players, STB etc.) and then just buy one of them, or whether I can get what I really like and then have B&O dealer add it to the TV's PUC list if it's not there. Ideally, would be nice to see each TV supported PUC list too. Is this something available out there?

Thank you.

You can buy a third party device such as a stb and send the original remote to Beo in Struer. They can create a PUC file for your device. This PUC should work in all newer Beovisions. Maybe Beo will charge you for this service. Beo created a PUC file for me some time ago for a special swedish HD sat box. Your Beo dealer can`t do that. He can put a list of PUC files together you want in your BV. If I remember correctly there are max. 25 PUC devices available in a BV.

Hope this helps

Take a look at the WIKI page for the PUC lists (here) (not sure if available to all members or just Gold/Silver)

That lists all manufacturers available to be downloaded onto the PUC. you can then go and look for the equipment in the list, choose which suits your needs best, buy it and then ask your dealer to add it to your PUC.

It looks quite a comprehensive list :o)
