I missed the launch at the Bulgari on Tuesday so popped in to Harrods on Thursday evening and had a listen - pretty amazing even in the 'sweet spot' mode despite all the noise from the rest of the technology department! The salesman used a flac source through the Avant but it would have been great to hear something of my choice but didn't think of taking anything!
If only I had £54k! Wonder how much I'd get for the wife?
As an owner of Beolab 5s in a modest sized room 20'x12' I can honestly say, BL90, don't want, don't need, don't like, don't fit :-) Over the years I've had Beovox MS150s, then Beolab Pentas, then the BL5s... I'm not telling you which of those were the best. I'm sure the BL90s are awesome to hear, but they just won't sell in huge numbers and that's that. Yes well done B&O for coming up with a product that even less people can afford and accommodate into normal life. If my house was as big as Harrods then I might buy a pair. Jack.

You don't have to worry that much.
They won't make enough of them to 'feed' us all anyway.
Be happy with your BL5's instead.
