Tonight I've installed a Beolink Gateway.
When adding resources, it finds my Beovision 10 but it is (and has always been) a link room TV however the gateway determines it is a video master. Why is this?
Do the NL products have no concept of master/slave etc, as per ML?
My NL/ML converter has a Video Master setting which it was set for option 2. I changed it to 1. If the NL/ML converter is considered the video master then why does the gateway pickup the BV10 as video master?
This might explain a problem I have whereby I cannot receive any audio through the BV10 from a main room source i.e. Radio or CD from my BS3000. It turns on and controls the BS3000 perfectly, but no audio.
I didn't get an answer to why I can't get the timer on the BS3000 to play audio when it switches on. Is this not possible when the speakers are connected to the Avant?
Things were so simple in a pure ML setup.
I want to say I appreciated the comments on my last thread so feel free to contribute again.
cheers,
Brent.
