I just managed to get a pair of Beolab 8000's for £125! they are in good condition and the drivers look ok - the problem is that both pairs humm when plugged in and the blow a fuse - they are just out of the car so probably cold, however wanted to know if anyone had had the same problem and what I should look for in terms of repairing them?
aha - just taken the frets off and they have an input voltage of 100V and are the japanese MKII ones - so good job the fuse blew - has anyone used anything like this in the UK?
