Just want to tell you about my setup. I started with an essence mk1 and beolab 17s. I then added the transmitter 1 and it worked fine witth my older Sony led TV using the ir to usb receiver. Than I wanted a bigger TV and I bought a Lg 920 Oled tv. The Ir receiver did not work with the LG. But as I wanted a blu ray player and a good cd player I bought a cambridge audio CXU universal player. (Yes I still play CDs) It has a variable audio out and I connect til throug RCA cables to the transmitter. It is great a very nice player for both movies and music. I can also play all sound from the TV thru it using HDMI ARC.
I would have liked an Avant but it is out of my price range. And since I listen to music a lot more then watch movies I think I will rather save up for beolab 20 speakers. But I am very happy with how it performs now.
That's a great set up Sibbi, it would be great to see a picture of them all together
I also play CD's :-)
