Poor MMC cartridge!

Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.

Quite funny video Big Smile

But, I was actually at a B&O presentation in the 80's where the salesman pushed the tonearm back and forth over the record with his finger -to show that the cartridge could handle it -and that it didn't make a visible scratch on the record...

Offcourse it's not a good idea when the cartridge is 20+ years Erm..

My RX 2 salesman did the same thing, right after he made a fist and knocked three times on the top plate next to the tonearm mount!

Did you reply back... twice on the pipe?

  • One B&o bottle opener
  • One fancy gun

I actually think that was the usual demonstration :) I remember seeing several B&O salesman doing those things back in the late 80's and early 90's.
