Hi Beoworld community-

The cord drive in my Beogram CD fell off the spool and was damaged. I think my kids tried to load more than 1 cd in it. The cord drive is the thin wire that moves the cd tray in and out.

It appears that the drive was made from 0.4 mm braided cable with a steel wire core. Does anybody know where I could find this kind of line so I can make a replacement?

I tried 0.4 mm braided nylon fishing line, but it was too soft and wouldn't wrap cleanly around the spool.

Thanks,

Brian
