I've been asked to repair one of these active speakers.

I've found that all the output transistors are short circuit, the 0.47R resistors are all intact,

Before I replace the six output transistors, and possibly the driver transistors, is there anything that could have caused this failure, ie a poor preset pot or a capacitor?
