Hi all, I have a strange fault on my beocenter 6-26 that I've only noticed recently. The audio from TV, DVD and RADIO,CD via masterlink all plays absolutely fine from the internal speakers. The sound also plays perfectly on my beosystem 7000 (via ML converter 1611) and various beolink Passover around the house, so both audio channels are there and are distributed as expected. However if I connect any speakers directly to either of the two powerlink sockets at the rear of the set only the right channel is present. I've ruled out faulty speakers (tried my beolab 4000s and 6000s) and tried multiple powerlink cables to no avail. Any thoughts on what might be causing this? I believe the set is actually a hotel version as it has a BTB unit installed; is this a 'feature' of the hotel version or does it sound like a fault? I want to rule out any obvious issues before I start poking around and looking at the powerlink module. Any advice gratefully received! Many thanks, Luke

Put it in Service mode and see if you have a any error codes showing - the PowerLink error code is 80.

Perhaps also try cycling between the speaker options - SPEAKER 1, 2 and 3 - to see whether switching the PL sockets off and on resets the left channel sound.

If neither of the above sort the problem then I would look inside.  There is a single 14-way ribbon cable between the main PCB and the PL board (PCB64), so I would look there first.
