How to hook up subwoofer to Beomaster 5000. Is it possible to hookup Beolab 8000 speakers to a Beomaster 5000

There is a pre-amp line out capability to the 5000.  Look for a pair of jumpers that link the pre-amp stage to the amplifier.  You can run from their to the 8000s and use them in line in mode.

Many would suggest that a subwoofer is not needed for the 8000s.

But if you want one, you can use the BeoLab 11, but you should then contact Steve at Sounds Heavenly (see his ad as a sponsor of this site at the bottom of the page) for a cable to go from the 5000's RCA plugs to the BL 11s power link input, from there you can then daisy chain to the BL 8000s.

I use the BL 11 with my 6000s.
