On the beo4, to get to the AUX in the living room, you have to press LIST->L.L-AUX

Is it possible to bind this destination to a key on the front of the remote, without using "list"?

How about the newer remotes. Is it possible to bind this destination to a one click button/icon?

No

If you with newer remote mean Beoremote One, yes you can add functions to the three buttons that are configurable. However, I´m not sure Beoremote One support e.g. the L.L-AUX even if its in "Beo4 mode".

Bizarrely, you may be able to achieve what you want (single button press) with an older remote - like this one:

And I do not think that you should have to press 'LINK' first in the living room, 'AUX' alone should suffice - what are your option settings?

And what do you have connected to the AUX input in the main room?

If you like it you could get a Beo 5 or 6.

Then you can put whatever command you like on the screen.

On a relatively new Beo4 you could move the command to the first place in List.

Then it would be quite easy to use.

What is this? The super rare Beolink terminal XXX? Never seen that before!

BTW it might be helpful to know more about the setup, products, configuration....

Guy, I have been looking for an Audio Terminal for quite some time. If this is a picture of yours and if you are willing to sell, I am interested.

Thanks :-)

Yes it is mine, bought a couple of years ago on UK eBay.  Didn't realise it was so rare, but sorry not for sale!  If I change my mind I will be in touch!

Stefan

it is a Audio Terminal

together with the Video Terminal and the AV Terminal (an Audio and Video version)  they were the predecessors of the Beolink 1000.
