Using a MacBook from 2005 with OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard (don´t laugh ), I upgraded to an iMac having installed OS X 10.11.3 El Capitan. I´m also running a Beomedia 1 which used to work fine with my MacBook via the BeoConnect app.
Now, with the new OS X, BeoConnect seems to build up a connection between IMac and Beomedia. Trying to transfer music files from iTunes to the BM, a program "iTunesDroper" opens, asking for my password. According to this forum and several internet sources, I checked BeoConnect within the system preferences. iTunesDroper I cannot find. The program is accepting my password. If then I drag and drop the file into the BC app, nothing is happening.
On the B&O website is no support for the BC app on new OS X available. I updated to Yosemite, same result as above.
Anyone solved this issue already or having an idea how to make it work?
Thanks and kind regards,
Rolf
Hello Rolf,
have you already found a solution to your problem?
arise currently facing the same task and want to solve it.

Hello Dennis,
I came up with this solution:
Open Finder
Click on "Beomedia" in the left scroll bar
Open BM Shares
Two files appear in my case: "B&O Samples" and "Mac"; Mac contains my music
Open Mac file
Open iTunes (view in reduced size)
Drag & drop the album file into the Mac file
A pop up appears, saying that the file is in the transferring process
After that it´s done and you can hear the music from the Beomedia 1
The same works for the picture transfer using photos. There will be no pop up but a file extension saying ".exporting".
I hope this will help.
Kind regards,
