Plenty of faulty LED displays reported on the forum. How reliable are the actual LED segments? I ask this because 41years since I made an LED clock from "Practical Wireless" that has been in use every day since. Touch wood, all the LED segments are perfect. A lot of the Beocenter displays are only on for part of the time and I would expect them to last a lot longer than 41years.
My Beocenter 7002 has one segment that does not light but only sometimes. I suspect a bad joint or most lightly a crack in the pcb, I will investigate if ever have to open it up again.
