Hello,
I would like to have a Beosound Essence with my system, will it works ?
I have no Apple products, only Androïd phone an PC.
How connect Beosound to my system ?

You have two options:
1. Connecting your BS4 to the BS Essence using the In Line connection, using the RCA connections of the the two BS, and then connecting the labs to the BS Essence. This option is the cheapest option. You have to use two remotes: Beo 4 for the BS4 and de Essence Remote for the Essence. It works very fine, I used this same set up. I finally sold my BS4.
2. Using a BeoLink Converter. The best way to integrate old products with new products. You can even see the info of the music played on your BS Essence through the BS 4 display. This is more expensive, but the integration is total.
Both solutions work fine with Apple and Android. I use a MacBook Pro and my phone is Android, and I don't have to do any adjustment to use both systems. I play music from my Mac and my phone indistinctly.

no problems there!
Just connect the Essence via RJ45/PL to RCA L/R adapter cable to the BS4 Aux-in.
Set the Essence to fixed line-out during the configuration process of the Essence.
If you want to use the Essence Remote, be sure to get one of the newest versions with the extended ir-functions.
With the right jumper settings this will enable an ir-command (A.Aux) to turn on and control the volume of the BS4 and the (bluetooth) controls for the Essence box.
And of cource you can control the Essence with BeoMusic app on your phone.
