Hello, I'm new here and have a question about ground wires if anyone can help please?
I recently bought a Beogram 1700 and I'm busy collecting the parts (Amp, Speakers) to play it. The Amplifier I bought doesn't have a connection point for a ground wire and I'm wondering it this is either dangerous, or will affect the playing etc.
Thank you
Patrick

What amplifier is that? If it has DIN sockets, the ground is already connected there, no need for extra cable. Btw: it's not dangerous to use a turntable without grounding (with other amps) but it could hum or make some noise, when you touch the metal.

Thanks Chris, much appreciated. I ended up buying this unit to make sure it all stays correct. https://www.maxiaxi.com/dap-phono-voorversterker-met-riaa-correctie/
...sorry, this unit just connects to my current amplifier.
