Hi,

I've recently bought a secondhand beosound9000 mk3,which the seller assured me was working fine with his b and o speakers.I've connected it to a Sonos connect amp connected to ceiling speakers, via one of the power line outputs to the Sonos line in. I've also put a dummy plug(speaker sense adapter from sounds heavenly) in the other power line output.

I can't get the beo 4 that came with it to control it. When I power it up the remote doesn't work, using the audio buttons on the 9000 (loudness bass etc)brings up "television controlled", the volume doesn't work.

So I use the remote to set it to audio 1,which gives me control via the 9000 controls(all buttons working), still nothing via the remote.

Power it off, then if I press 1 to 6 on the remote it'll power up and start playing the appropriate cd. However then I'm back to stage one. Audio buttons on the 9000 bring up "television controlled" and the remote doesn't work at all.

Can anyone help?

have you tried setting the BS9000 to option 1?

Option programming with Beo4:

  • While holding the • button on Beo4, press LIST.
  • Let go of both buttons.
  • Press LIST and use the navigation button up or down to bring up OPTION? in the Beo4 display and press the centre button.
  • Press LIST and use the navigation button up or down to bring up A.OPT in the Beo4 display and enter 1.
