Hi there and thank you in advance.

I've recently bought an A6. I love the sound, the design and the touch features. But I do have some questions about software...

1. Apps. The BeoSetup and BeoMusic Apps randomly have trouble finding the A6 on my WiFi network. I know the A6 is on the network because I can touch it and it starts streaming TuneIn and I can also send music to it via AirPlay. But sometimes I can't see it or control it with the BeoApps. Is this an issue others have experienced?

2. Sources. The BeoSetup app contains a list of sources I can enable/disable/reorder. I believe this list sets the order of sources I can touch the A6 to activate. Is that correct? What is the "Music" source? Is it DLNA?

3. DLNA. I would love to be able to start _my_ music playing on the A6 by touching it. However, my music is currently stored in iTunes on my Mac and AirPlay must be activated separately. Would DLNA and something like Twonky Server give me that ability?

OK that's all for now. Thanks again

Not much help to you, but I have never had that problem. Try restarting your router.

That is correct. Music must be DLNA. Its a bit strange that "Music" is not used as A6 source in BeoMusic. There its just whatever name you have given your e.g. NAS. In Beosound Moment "Music" is used for your DLNA souces.

Yes. Setup Twonky to serve your music to A6. That the way I have done it.

With #1 I've found that on iOS, force quitting the BeoMusic App, and restarting helps when my BeoMusic app doesn't see the Essence / A6. I think it needs to purge something possibly, but I really don't know why, but for me, when there's a hiccup like the App not seeing one of the products, doubleclicking the home button, swiping up to stop the instance of the App and then restarting BeoMusic, does the trick.
