Hi
I have just bought a beosound 2300 with a pair of beolab 4 for a room. This is the first time I hear them and I am really surprised that they sound so good for their size.
enough loud and clear.
However I wonder if this is not also due to the player. Recently a friend and a dealer have listened to a pair of beolab 9 connected to a beosound 2300 and was quite surprised by the sound quality. He bought finally the beolab 9.
Does the beosound 2300 have a different cd player that an ouverture ?
4 beolab 5, beolab 9, beolab 10, beolab 5000, beolab 8000 mk2, beolab 6002, beolab 3500, beovision 7 55 mk2, 2 beovision 11 46 mk4, beotime, beosound ouverture, beosound essence, beoplay A8, beomaster 900 RG de luxe and the collection continues...
I have owned both products in the past and found them to be identical really. I wouldn't have thought there's much difference. Even if the 2300 had an updated CD mechanism, would that really change the sound output? Just my thoughts, no technical knowledge on the subject.
