As the BeoLink Converter (BLC) has line-in connectivity I've been trying to figure out how to actually enable this port and make use of it (for my turntable; BeoGram 2000). But, I've only been able to make the IR-mapping A.AUX to the BLC (product name) and LINE IN (NL source) and when checking Sources visible on ML the ML source is linked to the BeoSound Moment (NL product name). So the question is how to change the linkage on the ML source page.
When it comes to NetworkLink priority I've set my BLC as primary and the BeoSound Moment (BSM) as secondary); but switching around the order doesn't make any difference from editing perspective and being able to change the A.AUX link which I want to be the BLC Line-In and not the BSM Line-In.
Any suggestion how to do this and as well open for any other trial and error suggestion as well.
What mode is the BLC set to?
I've set the ML role to Source Center. Based on your question would it be necessary to set the BLC to Audio Master/Slave to be able to enable the Line-In?
I mostly asked because if it is set to A.slave, then you can't distributed the LINE IN to ML.
My understanding of Source Center is that the BLC essentially acts like a BS5 (not set to audio master). That is, it only responds to N.Radio and N.Music from the ML side (and I would assume these would be mapped to your Moment). IIRC, a BS5 can only supply A.AUX to ML if it is also set as Audio Master. Therefore, I'm going to guess that you can't distribute the BLC's LINE IN to ML when it is set as "Source Center". If you want to distribute the BLC's LINE IN on NL (via the BeoMusic app), then I believe this is possible (select LINE IN on the BLC, and then "join" to the Moment - at least this works with the Essence).
However, if you say that you can distribute the Moment's A.AUX to ML, then the above is wrong, and some of my understanding not correct.
If you don't have an Audio Master in your current ML setup, then I would think it would work correctly if you configure the BLC to be an A.Master... but I only really have experience with the BLC set to A.slave.
Also note the the AUX input port on the BLC is shown as "LINE IN" in the configuration setup tools and BeoMusic App. I spent a bit too long not understanding this.
