Last week I bought myself a capri! Despite not being in operating condition (I do not dare to plug it in) I am very happy with it. Here are some pictures:

Although not being original, these are the feet I want to make for the TV but the next step is getting it back in working order.

Wow, that is a lovely find.
It looks absolutely lovely. Those legs should be simple enough to reproduce I think.
Ben
Really nice find!
Not lot of those are still to be seen around nowdays. And in working order even rarer ...
I wish you success repairing it and finding / making new legs for it (actually for me they are very similar to the A9 legs...).
Let us inform about your progress...

Nice find and a tough project.
The legs would be easy enough for a wood turner
Wonderful find! Not a thing you'll see everyday and it seems to be in great condition. - Don't just plug it in before doing a couple of basic checks.
Martin
Great to see that you are all just as enthusiastic as I am!
The legs indeed look very similar to those of the A9, but I doubt that they sell four of them..
The Capri is indeed in lovely condition and has almost no scratch to it.

I will not plug in in, nor will I be trusting myself with the electronics so I will hand it over to an expert as damaging it would be a shame.
But the good news is continuing...
...As a second TV came with it!
Let`s make it a little quiz. Which model is it?
Let's guess: Beovision 2000?
First time to see this model out of Beovision 2000 RG ...
Beovision 1400 KJ - but there are a few of them, so my guess would be Type 3319 (missing its wheelbase).

Nope...

You are close!
Oh yes... Beovision 1200KJType 3314 probably.I cannot tell if it has built-in speakers, so it could theoretically be a Beovision 1200SJ (Type 3326) but that would have leftyou with a set without speakers since this model has the speakers built into the wheelstand rather than the main cabinet.
As always, we have to ask Martin and there it is
I looked to my catalogs and found this pictures (sorry for the bad scan):
According to the pictures and the short description in the catalog, the 1200 KJ and 1400 KJ were very similar. The 1200 KJ have had 59cm and the 1400 KJ the 69cm tube.
But I was actually also close, as I found in the same catalog the information that the Beovision 1200 was built in the Beovision 2000 RG. So I learnt again something new...
Nice and interesting thread on old Beovisions again.

Suppose its in working order or you get the set working, is it still possible to receive an picture from the Dutch public broadcaster with this very well preserved beauty (Capri).
I thought terrestrial broadcast stopped by 2006 in the Netherlands, so what is the option to get a picture on de CRT bulb?

You can feed it with a signal from a test pattern generator if you would like to test the set
Vinyl records, cassettes, open reel, valve amplifiers and film photography.
In the UK you can get converters for old TV's - my local shop in the high street has several old Bush CRT TV's (TV-12 from 1948!) playing vintage films from a modern DVD - they are fantastic but he won't sell them as the shop is art deco.
Mean to add that maybe there is something similar available where you are?

Set top box with an RF modulator.
