Hi, I have a Beosystem 1 with Beovision 4-50 connected with a Beomedia 1. The connection is a VGA cable connected to the Beomedia 1 and pc on the beovision 4-50. I also have audio from the beomedia 1 to V.Aux on the beosystem 1. I also have a masterlink cable connected to the beomedia 1 and beosystem 1. I want to use the ir on the beosystem 1 to control my beomedia 1, please if you have an advice let me know.
-Thanks
Hello, happy new year.
I want to do the same thing as you. Did you find a way to do it? I also have a probleme. I am trying to connect the S-Video cable to the Beosystem1 and not connection the PC connection to the TV, I can see the image only in black and white. I am trying to find out if it is normal or I have a problem with my TV or my Beosystem 1. Can you hel me ? Thank you
You need to connect a mini jack stereo cable from the Beosystem 1 V Aux control output jack to the input on the Beomedia marked IR next to the Masterlink plug. You then set the external source of V Aux to Beomedia in the external sources menu of the Beosystem 1 for it to operate from the B&O remote thru the Beosystem 1. If Beomedia is not a source choice you may need to have the software updated in your Beosystem 1.
The output of the Beomedia is only black and white on n. music and n.radio. check photos or web to see if you have color.
Thank you for you answer.
I have a separate IR for the Beomedia1. I use the Service mode to go on the Web and it is still black and white. When I connect the SVideo or RCA video output from the Beomedia to and other TV I have, I can see the color. So I don't know why I can not see the color on the B&O TV with the Beosystem1?
